WandaVision Episode Guide

"The Series Finale" is the ninth episode and series finale of the American television miniseries WandaVision, based on the Marvel Comics characters Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and Vision. It follows Wanda as she tries to protect the idyllic suburban life and the family she created for herself in the town of Westview. The episode is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Agatha Harkness attempts to take Wanda Maximoff's chaos magic, but is interrupted by The White Vision, which distresses Wanda. The White Vision reveals S.W.O.R.D. director Tyler Hayward's orders to eliminate her and attempts to kill her, but is foiled by the other Vision, who joins the family in a fight against Agatha. The two Visions take their fight across Westview while Agatha frees the residents from their sitcom roles. They plead Wanda to free them, and she begins to open the barrier to allow them to escape. Hayward sneaks inside with multiple S.W.O.R.D. personnel.
Meanwhile, Monica Rambeau is captured by the fake Pietro Maximoff, but removes a magical necklace Agatha used to control him, revealing his true identity as Ralph Bohner. While Wanda's control of the barrier begins to decrease, Vision and her sons Billy and Tommy, begin to disintegrate, forcing Wanda to close the barrier before attempting to overpower Agatha with illusions of her past. Agatha gains control of Wanda's illusion and forces Wanda to give up her magic, feeling she is not worthy of it. Using her newly developed powers, Monica saves Billy and Tommy from Hayward, who is detained by Darcy Lewis.
Vision defeats The White Vision by restoring his memories, and the latter departs Westview. As Wanda transfers her magic, she creates magical runes around the barrier to strip Agatha of her powers and trap her permanently inside Westview as Agnes, becoming the Scarlet Witch in the process. The family returns home as Wanda collapses the barrier, tucking her sons into bed and bidding farewell to Vision, who reassures her that somehow they will see each other again one day since they have said goodbye before, as he fades away along with their house. After making peace with Monica, Wanda goes into hiding.
In a mid-credits scene, Hayward is arrested for tampering with evidence and Monica is informed by a Skrull disguised as an FBI agent that a friend of her mother Maria wants to meet her. In a post-credits scene, while studying the Darkhold in her astral form at a remote cabin, Wanda suddenly hears her sons calling for her help.
